Home About Experience Videography Photography

I first got into photography back in junior year of high school. I took a multimedia art class which had a photography unit that taught basic camera controls and composition techniques. I had so much fun with the photography assignments that I asked my teacher to let me borrow one of the class DSLRs so I could keep going out and practice taking random pictures for fun. Later on, I started using my parents' old point-and-shoot camera to practice more by having my friends pose for me after school. The very first photoshoots I did with my friends were for my double exposure art. I would have them pose in front of a blank wall to make it easier for me to make their outlines. At the time, I was obsessed with the intro sequence for HBO's True Detective, which was entirely made up of double exposure imagery. At one point, I started watching YouTube videos of photographers going out to shoot their models in many different exotic locations. This inspired me to find my style and go on the shoots I do now.
